Life Story

Hi everyone! Welcome to my first blog.

Hi. I am “K”. I am no one exciting or famous. I am a wife, mother, step-mom, daughter, sister, business owner, entrepreneur, and blogger. I aspire to be a motivational speaker and author one day.

I have tried traditional journals before and was not successful. The purpose of this blog is to connect with purpose-driven people so that we can inspire each other. I love, love , love people and believe that we are here to serve one another.

I want to introduce you to my family. My husband is “R”. He is really supportive, a great listener, fun-loving, and athletic. My step-daughter “A”; she is seventeen, smart/savvy and she lives out of state. She’s graduating from high school in two weeks and is college bound. My son is “E”; he’s eight years old. He is the sweetest, kindest boy I have ever known. My daughter is “S”. She’s only seven months but already she is very energetic, happy, and loving.

I serve an awesome GOD and owe all my b-l-e-s-s-i-n-g-s to him.

During the last year, I have thrown all my energy into helping home owners save their homes from foreclosure. The state of the US economy seriously disturbs me.

I love, love, love……the ocean, talking to my girlfriends that I’ve known for over twenty years, my precious children, GOD, eating all seafood (especially red snapper), listening to Bob Marley, life, New York, watching Al Pacino movies, the book of Proverbs, food, cuddling in bed, Barack Obama, David Letterman, ackee and saltfish, inspiring people,Las Vegas, Bill Maher, playing the Wii (especially when I beat my son), when my kids are sleeping, my husband , the book of Psalms, my family, eating cupcakes,Miami, politics, well-behaved children, the BMW 750, praying, watching Family Feud, traveling, reading magazines, my parents, Destiny Metropolitan, Carvel ice-cream(especially the crunchy filling), Atlanta, my sister, having faith, the Caribbean, iced-tea,Oprah, open-toed sandals, calamari, HBO, watching the nightly news, shopping at Target, hot chocolate, massages, Joel Osteen, Italian food, babysitters, love songs, prosperity, higher learning, pedicures, XM radio, vanilla ice-cream with rainbow sprinkles, Thanksgiving and Christmas, oreo cheesecake, the DVR, Desperate Housewives, Macy’s, reading Ephesians, frosted-flakes cereal, and blogging.
